Northfork really confused me. I didn’t really understand the plot or the
meaning behind it. I didn’t really know
what that little gang of eclectic characters was or what they were doing. I really didn’t understand why they were
giving away angel wings. But I was moved
by the priest’s persistance with the orphan boy. Even though everyone was moving away
(although I’m not really sure why), that the flood was coming, there was
nothing left for him, he stayed to care for the boy. It was moving to see the man devote his
entire life to the boy.
